Hello,

I am an experienced IT Professional most recently employed as an IT Systems Engineer at a technology company in Dundee (previously as an Operations Analyst at D.C. Thomson & Co. Ltd and Systems Administrator in the gaming industry at Realtime Worlds).

I’m also a founding organiser of Dundee Tech Meetup hoping to build a stronger community of tech and creative individuals in and around Dundee.

Topics you might find covered here will vary as much as my own interests do but think sysadmin stuff with smatterings of me ranting about things.

Continuing on from my last post then, all parts had arrived by Tuesday therefore that evening was build time. Cisco AnyConnect, OS X and Firefox

When I started work at brightsolid one of the tasks given (or rather one of the tasks I gave myself) was to get the Cisco AnyConnect client working on OS X. The symptoms are not very helpful in diagnosing the issue, the error you get will be something like "posture assessment failed". Fortunately Cisco [more]

Problem with Personal Hotspot on iOS 5

Having a busy week since upgrading to the iPhone 4S I hadn't thought to test everything I had before the upgrade. The most important things worked so it wasn't a big deal.
